New function : preview records on browse and list page

Thursday, January 7th, 2010

Today we implemented a new function on the browse and list page.

Many users wanted more fields to show up on these pages.
This would slow the system too much, so we decided to do it this way.

Click on the questionmark icon before the quicksearchfield and a popup will load the first 5 fields of the record.

Hope you’re happy with this new function. Please send feedback via the contact form or post a comment below.

New function within send e-mailing : export

Sunday, December 6th, 2009

Today we implemented a new function within send e-mailing. You can now export e-mailaddresses.

Users with many e-mailaddresses were running into problems due to a limit in the number of BCC fields that can be inserted into Outlook and Thunderbird with a weblink.

On your browse and list page (the page with the results from your search) click on this icon: email

Click on it and the system will search for the e-mailaddresses.
A popup will appear with the following choices:

Click here to open e-mailadddresses in your e-mail application › (= comma separated)
Click here to open e-mailadddresses in your e-mail application (MS Outlook) ›
(= semi colon separated)
export data (large datasets) ›
(= comma separated )
export data (large datasets) (MS Outlook) ›
(= semi colon separated)

If you click on one of the export links, a new popup will appear with your addresses filled in a textarea. Select all  with CTRL-A, then copy with CTRL-C and paste in your e-mailclient with CTRL-V.

New function: send e-mailing

Saturday, July 11th, 2009

Today we implemented a new feature/function.You can now send an e-mail to all your e-mailaddresses (or a selection) at once.

On your browse and list page (the page with the results from your search) you’ll find a new icon: email

Click on it and the system will search for the e-mailaddresses. A popup will appear with a link to open your default e-mail application. Your own e-mailaddress wil be filled in the To field, the others will be filled in the Bcc fields. We’ve chosen for using your own e-mail application to avoid people sending spam via Grubba.net.
